Hard to shift from 4th to 5th. new Z06 trans Guys,
I just had a NEW trans put into my 01 zo6 (OEM Z06 04 I think) by the dealer.The trans is very stiff when shifting, but thats not the problem.
When im driving and shifting from 4th to 5th it feels like there is a wall stopping me from getting to 5th or 6th gear. Feels like when trying to go into reverse while still rolling a little(locked out). What i have to do is grab the shifter with both hands and push it to the right and the shifter gos over fine and then i can put it into 5th or 6th gear. Its like its catching on some "thing" when i do the normal motion from 4th to 5th.
Has anyone else had this happen?
Any help would be great.
