Default clutch issue Z06

Okay, this might be in the wrong forum, but my buddy just bought a used 03 Z05 with 18k miles and the clutch pedal sticks to the floor.

I have a 6 speed camaro and it used to do this and I bought an aftermarket clutch and master. Will my friend have to do this as well?

Can any of you Z06 guys shed a little light on the subject?

I will post this in the trans section as well

Mine did that right before it went out… He should get a new one. I’d recommend an LS7 clutch if there’s not too much done to his car. Another LS6 clutch is gonna do the same thing after a few good power shifts, and most of the heavy duty clutches feel funky on near stock cars. That’s my advice…

probaly need to bleed the clutch, if does not work mslave is bad. take the tranny out and inspect.
