Default transmission shakes

I just installed a new LS7 clutch and a LS2 flywheel. At first it felt fine. Now after 90 miles when ever taking off the transmission shakes until the clutch is fully engaged. Any ideas? Is this normal?

Nothing is loose inside. I made sure I put red loctite on the flywheel and PP bolts. Bell housing and tranny bolts were also torqued down

i had the stock mount on. I put a poly on today and I have the same problem. I'm thinking it's just the new clutch disc catching as i ride the clutch.

I know what you are talking about, I had the car back on jackstands ready to pull the transmission back down, and see what the F@$@ was going on but I thought I would remove the trans crossmember and go back to the stock mount, and it cured the vibrations I don't really see how you could get the clutch out of alignment with the dowel pins on the flywheel. Even if the clutch disk was out of alignment with the pilot bearing, it would have to self align upon engine start up .. Hang in there!

Mine made strange noises like it was rubbing for the first 2 weeks of having the clutch.

As it broke in it gradually went away. You wouldn't know I changed the clutch now as it sounds quiet and feels like stock. I'm just over 1500 miles on the clutch now so you may have some city driving to get it broken in.

Clutch Chatter on a new clutch is normal. Put some miles on it and it should go away.

Good Luck!
