Default Break in ?

Just finished up my t56 rebuild and was wondering if there is a break in period for it.
Thanks Brian

I usually here a few hundred miles for stock parts. Once they wear together, they are usually pretty good. Same goes for the clutch

Here is a copy of our breakin sheet we give all of our customers. Hope it helps.

Thanks,
Amber

1. 4QTS of GM Synchromesh or Mobil 1 ATF will be fine. You can purchase both at your local parts store or dealership.

2. Normal driving for 500 miles is required for breakin. Please make this as much stop and go as possible. Dynoing the vehicle is fine during break in.

3. Fluid should be changed every 10,000 miles and mobil 1 or synchromesh based only is to be used if the vehicle is not driven more than 100 miles per week. If more than that is driven, the fluid should be changed every 20,000 miles or as needed.
