Best Clutch for slipping ?
Having stock rear end, I think slipping the clutch technique works best for drag launches. Well, at least you won't brake the rear-end.
Anyways, which clutch is best for slippage (most durable for that application) ?
I was thinking to slip it for a VERY short time at 3000 rpms or so....
Thanks

Your best bet is a stock type clutch, either the LS6 or the LS7. The Luk pressure plates have an automatic wear compensator mechanism that will make the clutch last longer. If your going to be slipping the clutch a lot at the track, make sure you give yourself plenty of time between runs to let the clutch cool. Heat is your enemy.

Cool Thanks.
I participate in drag racing events once a year only, and I do 3-4 runs at the most...
There's no need for me for to get a $2200 rear end. Instead, I prefer a cheaper "wearable" like the clutch.... I know that will last me a couple years anyways.....
Ls6 or Ls7 it is then....
Thanks Again !
