Default z06 clutch kit part # comfirmation

A few of the old threads list an outdated part number for the LS6 Z06 clutch kit. Is this the current new part number?

12570806

Thanks in advance

That part number brings up this:

http://www.sdpc2000.com/search.asp?s...0806&doquery=1

I would check with them as this looks to be the part number for an LS1 clutch.

"Upgrade your LS1 with this Corvette Z06 flywheel assembly. This GM flywheel kit includes the clutch and pressure plate, balanced and ready to install right out of the box."

quoted from there site. Not very clear, but I'll find out when I give them a call. I'm thinking this is a full LS6 kit, but I could be wrong...pretty confusing.

You are probably right and it is very confusing. When you find out for sure please let us know.

I show this number for a 1998-2002 F-Car which should be the upgraded LS6 version. 12581650 (Clutch, PP, flywheel combo). It is a more recent number in progression compared to the number you show so I would guess it is newer. Your part number is a clutch number but I can't confirm which year it was for.

I emailed their parts department and the website has been updated with the correct info now. That part number is the z06/ls6 clutch assembly for $368.
