Different fluid for easier shifting?
I have a rebuilt T5 with Kevlar syncros and other go fast parts.
I have a B&M ripper shifter for it, along with a SPEC stage III+ clutch.
When I shift it feels like I'm dragging a broomstick thru a bucket of gravel.
If I get some different tranny fluid, will it shift smoother? I think it has B&M trick shift in it right now.

Can't really comment on the T5, but in my T56 (Tremec Replacement), I get the best results from GM Dexron III.
I've tried Redline Sythetic and the results were smoother shifting when cold, but very notchy shifts as well as grindage when shifting fast, even at operating temps
Had the same problem with M1
I'm guessing the synthetic stuff was just too slick for the synchros
Honda Z1 worked fine with smoother cold shifting than GM Dex3, but I have since switched back to the GM stuff and stuck with it....
It seems the GM Dex3's grittyness allows me to shift faster at higher RPM's than any of the other fluids I've tried, however, cold shifting remains very notchy....
This pretty much forces me to baby her until she's fully up to operating temps, so it's a good thing IMHO....
