Default No pedal after car sits a few days

Having a strange problem with our 1999 SS. Here is the background on the car.

NEW GM slave about 4k miles ago
NEW LS6 Clutch about 4k miles ago

After the car sits a while you will have no clutch pedal. Pump it A LOT of times and it comes back and works great. This started a few weeks ago.

Last week we got a new GM master cylinder(01-02) and installed it and did the drill mod. WORKED GREAT!! with a much better shift and clutch feeling.

After sitting for a week or so it did the EXACT smae thing it used to do. After a lot of pumping its perfect again(still feels better after the new master and drill mod)

Clutch does not slip at all.

Tomorrow I will be bleeding the system as the car sits a lot and could have gotten air in the system somewhere before we changed the master.

Ideas? Advice? Help please!

Thanks!

Sounds like just air to me. If you can get a hold of the mighty vac use it because it should for sure take the air out. If you search for clutch bleeding made easy you can find a good write up on it.

Leaky slave has been found. Pulled it and the tranny today. I will update Tuesday after the new slave is installed!

Installed and so far so good. I will post back in after the car sits for a little while.
