Post C.A.G.S question

I wasn't sure if this was the right place for this thread or not but; what does the little cags mod do to the tranny? Ever since i had a new T-56 put in it doesnt seem to ever wanna go in any gear at any time. NO I dont have the cag mod now. Before my tranny s*@t out it shifted easier with the cags mod and i could actully go into 2nd gear from first!

With mild throttle and mild acceleration, the Computer Aided GEar Selection will bridge you from First to Fourth gear. It is for fuel ecconomy.

It does not effect any other gear, just bridges off second. THere is an electronic, solenoid I believe, on the driver's side of the tranny that the CAGS MOD plugs into. All it really is is a resistor to simulate the solenoid on the tranny.

If you have problems with your tranny not going into gear, it's not the cags and you have other issues. Most likely it's a clutch disengaugment issues. Or your tranny is just plain smoked.
