Default Advice needed. RAM VDS install.

Afternoon fella's.

So, tomorrow is the day I have been waiting for, for a while now. I'm going to install my RAM VDS,bellhousing blanket,DTE brace,RACEtronix pump and harness, hawk pads, stainless lines etc etc. Ive been jonesing for this weekend for a while now.

My question(s) are regarding the proper installation of the VDS system. The kit comes with several (actually it's 6) EXTRA washers in a parts bag, and 18 thin, spacers/shims of some sort.

I have no instructions. I'm guessing since there are 6 washers, they'll be used for either the pressure plate, or flywheel but, not sure which. The shims....I honestly could guess but, not something I am willing to do since the possability of a clutch faliure could acure.

I called RAM's tech facility yesterday but...no answered phone calls.

Does anyone have correct information about this setup? Pictures would be great? Torque specs? Like factory? Hell, I could guess all day.

I'd appreciate anyones help, or insight.

Thanks.

Jamie

..as I continue to answer my own questions.... " The all new Ram VDS (Variable Diaphragm System) clutch kit is the only diaphragm clutch that allows you to set-up and maintain proper clutch pressure for maximum performance. Too much tire spin? With the VDS clutch you can reduce pressure to allow for changes in traction. The clutch is set-up from the factory at maximum clamp pressure."

"the clutch is set-up from the factory at maximum clamp pressure"

So, does that mean I don't need to use the shims?
