z06 short stick work on my 00 fbod?

z06 short stick work on my 00 fbod? A buddy of mine had an extra short stick laying around that he got for his 02 Z06. Was wondering if it would work in my car. He said he wasnt sure. Thought i would ask here before going and tearing into the shift boot.

Im not sure but just take a look at the bolt pattern on the Zo6 stick and compare to the one you have now. all you have to do it carefully remove your shift boot and have a look.

Most Corvette shifters have the stick integral to the shifter since it attaches to the torque tube and not the trans. If thats what you have , no, it will not work on an Fcar T56.

Yep thats what he gave me. I had a feeling it wouldnt work, so i just ordered a ws6store short stick. Been reading that its definately worth the 25 shipped, and is a decent combo with the factory hurst.
