Default ram vds900 vs ls7

ok i need a new clutch i found a guy selling a vds900 w/flywheel w/5000 miles on it for 300 shipped or a new ls7 w/flywheel from fred beans all my mods are in the sig heads and cam are in the future maybe nitrious which ones better for my app?

It would help if those two clutches were even in the same league...

If you are doing heads/cam/nitrous, don't do the LS7. It might handle it for a short while, but not for long.

The LS7 clutch won't handle big HP for long. As for a used clutch...spend your money and take your changes...not really a good move!!

of the two I would go with the fred beans combo. Right now you would not put the the ls7/ls2 combo. Once you go heads and cam look at what is out there, something new may have come out. I do not mind getting used parts but used clutches make me nervous unless I know the person or the shop that installed it.

well i ordered the ls7/ls2 combo for now it was fit for my budget and i could always upgrade the disk and pressure plate later after i get a H/C setup
