Should I reinstall this clutch?
Hey all,
I have a Textralia clutch with way less than 10k miles on it and maybe 30 track passes (most of which were on a 335rwhp car). I have the motor out for a rebuild right now, and looking at the clutch disk I'm wondering if this thing is almost worn out. There is about a .020-.025" gap between the clutch pads and the bolts that hold them in. After that the fasteners will be hitting the flywheel.
How thin are these pads to begin with? I didn't install the clutch, so I have no frame of reference. Should I be looking to get a new clutch, or do these pads just wear incredibly slowly?
I'm going to be pissed if I spent $1k on a clutch that every raves about and I was able to eat it up this quickly.
Pics available upon request.

Drives 100% fine. Great grab, very streetable, flywheel looks pretty good. No serious discoloration or ridges. The only thing that concerns me is how thin the clutch pads are. Maybe they're supposed to be real thin, but I'm not sure. I don't want to install this and have to pull it 500 miles later because the pads are worn out.

Is there any way to find out how thick the clutch disk should be with the pads? I can mic it and find the total thickness, but I don't have any idea what it was like new.
Also, anyone know if you can buy just the clutch disk itself?
