Default Textralia OZ700, Is it overkill?

I'am looking into a new clutch and want a good quality one, I was looking at the Textralia OZ700 Series Clutch with the 18 Pound Steel Billet Flywheel package from byunspeed. I was just wondering if this clutch was over kill for a full bolt on car. After i get my degree i would like to do a stout heads and cam package, but that wont be for a few years so give me your opinions on this clutch.

That does seem a bit much for a bolt on car only. My advice is to get something decent for your power right now and when you do the other mods in a couple of years replace with the tex. I would seriously look at the LS6 setup if I were you, the best cheap clutch out there, I was very happy with mine. Just my opinion.

Definite overkill. The clutch would work fine, but the price would be ridiculous for just bolt-ons.

i went with an exo skel (the dual street strip clutch)- i have heads/cam, full bolt ons, true duals blabla, and evetually a 100 shot...BUT i would say this is even overkill, but id rather have overkill than a shitty *** clutch when it counts

so , to answer your question, yes for the $ it is overkill, but if you want the best, spend the $ and never look back
