Changing Out Master Cylinder Today
Well I just had my transmission rebuilt, and got my car back a week ago. I hadnt driven it in about 2 months, so of course I had a little fun with it. And a few days ago the clutch pedal didnt come all the way back up from the floor and it engaged practically on the firewall. So I'm replacing the master cylinder today and was wondering if anyone has ever replaced theirs before and how much work it is?

I just changed mine out last weekend. It's not that bad if you have two people when you are doing it. Taking it out is easy but putting it back is what will be a pain. From start to finish it took me and my buddy about 35 to 45 min. to complete. Plus the drill mod.

No nothing special unless you plan on doing the drill mod. Then you would need a 1/8 drill bit. Go to http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm then click on install documents then scroll all the way to the bottom to where you see Mcleod drill mod and click on that and it tells you all the tools you will need for installing the master cylinder and doing the drill mod if you intend on doing so.
