Default Anybody use this clutch?

I found out I need a new slave and mabye a clutch today. Since I need a new slave I might as well get the clutch changed. Has anybody used this clutch? I've heard LUK makes most original GM clutches. So is this a good clutch for me to use in my 2000 SS. I don't have any major mods and don't plan on any major ones. So I just need something cheap that gets the job of daily driving done. Let me know your guys opinions. Or if someone knows of any other cheap clutches which I can use. Thanks

dont buy from them, i bought a z06 clutch oem luk, and the pressure plate was messed up, it was new but didnt work, and the clutch also looked thin. when i bought one from gm, it had the same marking and name but the clutch disk was thicker, i called them up and they were makeing excuses about the clutch, sayin if i instaled it properly, just giving me the run around, the shop that i go to installed and told me it dosnt disengage or somthing, replaced the whole thing witht he gm one and worked perfectly, advice dont buy from there trust me

Ram Powergrip HD is accually very inexpensive!

I got mine through NewEra (board sponsor) for $389.99 + free shipping.

I got a new 01 slave through Napa for $104.99.

I crosshatched my factory flywheel and am haivng EXCELLENT results.

Dang fine clutch for under $500 for everything!

Stay away from ebay! I would def stay away from ebay on clutches. My neighbor with his 99gt got a clutch from ebay and it was supposed to be a spec3 and the pressure plate came in as a king cobra and lasted him less than 1k miles ! Do yourself a favor and look for our vendors on this site and buy from them !
