Default Master Cylinder Question???

I'm gonna buy a LS7 clutch setup for my 01 ss M6. Will the ls7 slave master cylinder fit right in my M6?

You are gonna have to differentiate...the slave cylinder and the master cylinder are two completely different parts. The slave cylinder is the piece that is attached to your transmission, and presses on the fingers of the pressure plate (with the throwout bearing). The master cylinder is attached to your firewall, and is what you are actuating when you press on the clutch pedal. Together, they make up the clutch hydraulic system.

I would call the nearest Gm dealer parts department to find out for sure.

My gut feeling says no....

All you need is that 01-02 master that came on your car. That is what is used with the ls7 clutch in a f-body.
