Default Clutch sticking to floor, wont go into gear..?

So I was driving to work today, and went to shift from 3rd into 4th, and the clutch stayed at the floor, and i couldnt get it into any gear...

...so I coasted for about 150 feet, and all the sudden the clutch popped back up, and went right into gear, it was a little sluggish shifting gears for about 5 minutes, and then it seemed to be right back to normal.

after about 10 more minutes of driving, I was about 2 blocks from work, and it did it again just briefly, it stuck to the floor for about 2 seconds, then popped back up on its own.....

so what the heck is going on? is my clutch about to crap the bed? something else?

its a y2k SS, with 93k miles on it.. cutout and lid...

Hydraulics.

Bleed the system.

If that doesnt help my guess is you need a master cylinder or a slave cylinder.

My buddy was having a similar problem a while back and it turned out to be the throwout bearing, after it was replaced you could tell that it was pretty much destroyed. His clutch was also pretty shot too, which helped the problem along.
