Default 2001 Trans Am Clutch Hydrolic Q

Hi, Son replaced his clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, all new. Also new GM part, master & slave units. 3 months ago. All was good. Now the petal goes down about 2 inches before you can feel it engauge to release. Before you could feel it "Hit" about 1/2 to 1 inch down. Once pushed in, it will start to engauge the clutch about 1 1/2 inch off the floor. Ok I think where it's at on engauging. Clutch, other than the excessive petal travel for the pressure to start the release, is good. Thinking it's a bleed-bleed again. Just thought if it was bled the 1st time & worked ok. Why would it be doing this now. Had to edit. The petal is not spongy on pressing down when it feels like its engauging. Dave

I put mine in about 2 months ago, Ive had too bleed mine about 3 times before it was just right.
One thing that I found works is too bleed take it for a ride (30 min or so) and bleed.
