Hey buddy,
I have an LT1 Core I'm possibly gonna be getting rid of...If you don't have the cash for a complete build right now...
It really sucks to hear your car is in hibernation mode...

I had a guy send me one this week that makes yours look brand new. The shop doing his original rebuild forgot to put the snap ring back on the mainshaft and then forgot to put oil in it. Welded the input shaft to the mainshaft and all of the bearings were melted. He is in the same boat you are. Good luck on getting it back together.
