Default ugly hoping.

aight here is the problem. when i drive normal or even with some decent acceleration and shift into second it is fine, but when i nail it from 1st, when i shift into second i get some real nasty hop in between the rear seats where that hump is at. the only think i can think of is that my tranny mounts are out. any ideas what it could be.

Thats what it sounds like to me. Just to be safe also check your drive shaft joints.

obvious things to check are the trans mount, torque arm bushing and the bolts for the LCA.

my $$ is on the first two though

trans mount or torque mount more than likely.

It is not hard at all. Just lift the car up and then jack the transmission up to take the weight off the mount, pretty self explanatory from there. Dont be surprised if it comes apart in 2 pieces
