Default transmission noise

hey guys my transmission has just recently started getting a little sluggish and a constant slight grinding noise as well as vibration in the shifter in 6th gear... it is an M6 and my car has 100,000 miles anyone with any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks again

Talk to LS1 Joe. He rebuilds the t56 trannys. His web sight is www.t56rebuilds.com.
He knows the tranny inside and out. As far as sluggish, I assume you are talking about dragging or slow going in to gear. Slow going in to gear and grinding, usually means there is a problem with the clutch hydraulics and needs bleeding, or the master or slave cylinder needs to be replaced. However, you say there is also a vibration in the shifter in 6th gear. That could mean there is a internal tranny problem.
If your talking about grinding and slow when shifting between gears, you have an internal problem. More than likely it is the blockers and/or syncronizers. Don't let the problem go for long or you will have to replace more parts.
