the clutch pacs in a TH-400.

Nothing is really gonna hold 1200 on the street too well, unless you baby it around.

SPEC 5, Textrilla may work but I wouldn't trust a clutch at that power level for very long.

I believe the McLeod twin disk can supposedly handle north of 1200 hp, according to them. The new Tex twin disk might too. No experience with either but will soon!!

I wrote a review about Spec Here

They tell me their 3+ twin disk that I just got holds upwards of 1500ftlbs.

Torque, not HP is what you measure a clutch's capacity in.

Now, with all that being said...

I was recently in Australia and saw a car that has a Textralia Triple in it that has been holding ~1400RWP on a Dyno Dynamics load dyno. The clutch has been in the car for quite some time. The DD Dyno read about 15-20% lower than a Dynojet. So, that would equate to about ~1600 RWHP on a DynoJet (roughly). Its not advertised to hold 1600RWHP, but I'm just letting you know what I saw when I was there.

The real issue you have is that being as its in a C5, driveline components will most likely give before you reach any clutches capacity for torque holding.
