Default Textralia ?'s

Im gonna buy a textralia clutch tomorrow prolly. I plan to hit 550-600rwhp one day. I know they rate off torque but should i go with the single disc x grip or should i just spend the extra little bit and get an exoskel twin now? Also what for slave cylinders is everyone using?

At your power level, no way do you require the twin.

One of their single disc range will be more than adequate, and be much much nicer to drive.

The Z grip is stronger, and although rated at 700lbfts, it will handle more.

But the X-grip will be more than adequate for you, and be nicer to drive...

Although the Z-grip drives pretty much like stock too.

Depends what sort of daily use you see......what sort of traffic situations etc

Im not worried about the pedal effort. I dont drive it much and if i do its not a big deal to me. I just wnat to make sure clutch is there when i start adding power. I also been thinking of adding a 50-75 shot on it to. Exo skel would be overkill yes but i wont ever kill it tho but i prolly will end up with a z-grip.

Pedal effort is no big deal IMO

How the clutch bites and drives is. But if it isnt a daily driver, and you dont see traffic situations, then it is of little importance.

Your requirements sound similar to mine. Currently full bolt ons, but cam will be installed in 2 weeks. I also made sure they knew that I was planning a Shot of spray up to 200HP. I was told the Single OZ700 would be plenty and the X grip would hold up fine and be very drivable in traffic and what not. Also I was told that if for some reason I do overpower the X grip disc, they will hook me up with a Z-grip. So I went ahead and got the Billet steel flywheel, OZ700 with the X grip. This clutch will be installed Tuesday night and I will report back with my thoughts on it.
