Default high horsepower clutch

414 was guestimated at 525-550 rwhp when built so ive been hard into clutch info. been leaning towards the spec stage 3+ was wondering what some of the other guys with these type of engines have been using.

It is easy to find a clutch that will hold a lot of torque. How do you plan to drive? Drag racing destroys clutches.

As long as you don’t do too many 6000 rpm dumps with sticky tires you have many good choices. Ram, Spec, McLeod, Textralia all make excellent clutches. Be aware that the flywheel and hydraulics are both crucial parts of the clutch system.

Don't assume an adjustable master is always best - follow the clutch manufacturers recommendations. Good luck.

said looking into didnt say buying ive got a used stocker that was used to mock up everything and was looking into the drill mod and making it adj which braught me to adj master cylinders. im a little ways off from needing this stuff

but i will have to get a master cylinder as mine has the braided line on it but the fitting has been cut off. and as far as i have found you cant just buy the line.

but thanks for all the input
i know a clutch is ultimatly going to come down to personal preference beyond each brands tolerence's
