Default A4 to M6

Hi,
I couldn't find what I wanted in the search so, Im in the process of doing a A4 to m6 swap in my 2001 formula. My question was if i get all the wiring to the computer correct could the car be driven for ~10 miles. to get tuned or am I needing to flatbed the car to get the car over there?
regards,
Mike

Alright, I have no idea, but im just going to try and help... I have never done this but me and my friend are about to do a a4 to m5 swap on his firebird and I was reading up alot about it and I did read that you can drive the car after getting everything together, but you wont want to for long before you reprogram the computer... I dont know if that helps, but maybe this will draw some more attention for ya so someone else will help...

well your speedo will be off a bit. the pcm will be tring to shift but there is no gears for it to change. you will most likely get a ses light cuz it will command 2nd gear or first but nothing. i say go for it nothing will happen to you engine if that is what you are worried about
