Default bleeding slave

i know this is gonna come off as a newby question but i have to bleed my slave to get the old cooked fluid out. well my question is where does the fluid go? do i have to worry about it getting on my clutch? i would hate to bleed it and have the fluid get on the clutch. also what would you say is the best way to go about bleeding the slave. thanks

The old fluid will all shoot out the bleeder you should not have a problem with it getting on the clutch. As for bleeding take a look at the link in my sig Is your clutch pedal sticking? Theres a whole section on bleeding the system.
