Default Bad slave?

I have posted this on a few diffrent web sites and havnt really gotten much of a answer so..........I'm try'n here.

The car is a 01 Z28 t-56 with a Spec Stage 5 clutch.

The clutch only has 400 miles on it if that.

It started around April I noticed at 5k + RPM i couldnt shift.I checked things over and found my master cylander reservour was low. I filled it then i could shift at high RPM's again.drove around for a while then the pedal was dropin closer to the floor. I check the reserour again and it was BONE dry.I filled it up again and the pedal came back up.Now the clutch is slippin, I can REV it and then it goes.Like its burnin the break fluid off the clutch then grabing.about a month ago i was standing around and the car started rolling down the driveway on its own.The car WAS in 1st gear, the cars e-brake is Inop. Now if i look in the clutch reservour the fluid is BLACK!!!!

I think it might be the slave cylander.I found out none of these parts are warrentied so im gonna have to do it my self.

ANY HELP would be GREATLY appreciated........I'm at a loss.

Thanks

Christian

Well if it is loosing fluid inside the bellhousing that is your issue.
Has is ever leaked out the bellhousing before?
Have you checked the master where the rod connects to the pedal under the dash?
The master is known to leak there as well.
slipping clutch = alot of heat & would expect the fluid to turn black quickly.
Driving these cars alone the fluid will get that way by itself.

I havnt seen any leak out of the bell housing.......but,There was a pudle at the back of the tq arm. I figure it might have followed it along the arm and dripped.

the master was replaced about 2k ago.I broke the arm at the back of the pedal. The guy who towed it said "you've only had this car for 4 months, this was caused by alot more abuse than you could give it"

freshly replaced. BUT it does sqeak or spray fluid. I looked tho there is no sign of it runnin down the line.

the fluid was as clear as water before this **** started. This has pissed me off all SEASON not 1 mile i have driven since april. before this started i was 14-0 then it all started.

Get a stock replacement. The GM slave will work fine.
