Initial Impression of Spec 4 clutch
I am surprised to find that my new Spec 4 (solid hub, six-puck) clutch doesn’t chatter or grab like I was led to expect. I can engage the clutch at idle and smoothly pull away from a stop. I haven’t been to the track since installing the Spec but there are several reports here of Spec 4s surviving more than 200 6k launches, which is why I decided to try this clutch. I just want others to know that a hardcore racing clutch isn’t necessarily intolerable on the street.
