Default Need a clutch that is easy to push in

I'm doing an LS1/T-56 swap into my wife's 92 Camaro. She has knee problems and would prefer to have as light clutch effort as possible. The clutch in my GTO is really heavy for her, but she can work it.

I'm planning a mild H/C package shooting for around 400RWHP. The car won't see any track use, mostly DD & city driving. She'll get on it, but no tire screeching or clutch bombing (for now anyway ).

An LS7 clutch is the ideal replacement for the money, but I hear the clutch effort is more than the LS2 clutch. I had just automatically negated non-OEM clutches due to the issues Goat owners have noted in drivability with some of them, but those are usually much higher power levels than 400 RWHP.

What would you all recommend? My buddy mentioned a clutch (Spec I think?) that had very little effort but due to the design held a good amount of power. Would the LS1 clutch (I drove an LS1 GTO which had lighter clutch effort compared to my LS2, and I hear the f-bodies are similarly light) hold that power? Is there an aftermarket one you would recommend?

Cost is a factor here. I don't want to cheap out on important parts, but anywhere I can save money I need to. Thanks!

The LS7 kit in my TA engages fairly easy and is hold pretty good. It feels like a stocker and will handle some power and abuse.

Put an auto in it. They're all going to be heavy if she thought your stock GTO clutch was.

No auto - she hates them ever since I convinced her to get a 5-speed Accord. She's probably just used to the feather light clutch in her 166HP four banger, but I'm mostly trying to find out if aftermarket clutches can really produce a lower pedal effort and hold a mild ~400 RWHP.

The LS2 clutch is light compared to anything aftermarket that I've ever felt, and I don't think anything OEM will reliably hold 400rwhp short of the LS7

Ive always had good luck with CenterForce dual friction.
easy pedal and pretty good holding pressure.

I would put a LS7 clutch in there. Those stock LUK pressure plates are tame, the LS7 being the heaviest though.
