Default Do I have upgraded Hydraulics or not?? (2001 +)

Well, I have been having the sticking clutch pedal problem. I have done the drill mod and bleed.

I was just thinking about the year of the master cylinder etc. My car is a 2001. However, my ASC build date is Oct 11, 2000. Perhaps I didn't get the upgraded hydraulics????? If that is the case, then I need to buy an upgraded factory unit. Can anybody shed some light on this and say this is the problem.

Thx.

Hope somebody is in the know.

Its possible that the master is wore out. You could try a new one but it also could be the clutch as well. How many miles are on the clutch?

The clutch should be OK then, failing master is possible and is the easiest thing to replace.

Look on the bottom of the master cylinder cap, it will have 2 digits in the middle of the cap with a circle around them. That is the year of your master cylinder.
