Question Scatter Shield or not?

Ok guys and gals, I have to swap out the clutch this weekend and was hoping for some advise. I am currently running a 383 setup on my LT1 with the T56 and am using a Centerforce dual fric clutch with the stock bellhousing. I am comtemplating putting a scatter shield in but there is not much available for this app unless I convert to the LS setup and convert to the internal secondary hyd slave and use the McLeod bulletproof housing. The car is putting out about 500 at the crank (N/A), and I don't race her just drive around 100 miles a year. Do I need to really worry about it and should I just stick with the stock bellhousing? Any advise?
