Default Stiff T-56

Its a 00 WS6 M6. Lately the tranny has been real stiff when its cold, very hard to get into gear. Its all stock except for a WS6 store short stick, the clutch was replaced about 15k mi ago. The clutch isnt slipping and grabs ok.
Usually after driving around for a few mins it will loosen everything up, but when its cold its almost impossible to get into gear.
Any ideas?

My 94 is similar too. Doesn't want to go into gear easily in cold weather. Everything feels real notchy for a few minutes until it warms up. I think it's time for a fluid change, but I wonder what the best stuff is to put in there??

Usually its the thickness of the fluid but it hasn't really got cold down here in Texas this year . I would definately drain the fluid and use either Royal Purple Syncromax or regular non synthetic ATF Dex/Mer III in it . Its possible that someone put gear oil in it since its a standard and that would cause the issues you are complaining about . You could also have a slave cylinder going out on you as well .
