Default Falling out of gear?

sometimes, when I put it in third, it will just fall out after I begin to accelerate. I have to put it in real snug to avoid it.

Is this from the previous owner maybe skipping 3rd, and going straight to 4th?

anybody have this problem?

You probably have a worn out set of fork inserts on the 3/4 fork and if the fork is aluminum might be tweaked a little bit . Have the unit freshened up and upgraded with a Viper steel shift fork .
