Default t56 stick

i got a 99 t/a with a t56 that sticks in 4th gear i can go in all gears but its still in 4th some times it will come out but not to much any help will be grate

More than likely it is the syncro keys. They break & the pieces jamb the shift collar on the syncronizer. Happens quite a bit, thats what the billet slider keys are offered for as an upgrade to keep this from happening.
Your gonna have to tear the trans apart, might as well rebuild it

x2. And it will probably get worse the more you drive it and risk hurting other tranny internals, so think about doing it soon or not driving it much. Mine happened all at once on a fast shift to fourth, never came out again until we pulled the trans and took it apart. Broken synchro got wedged. (It happened the night before a prepaid track rental, as well )

Sounds like the syncro keys to me as well .
