Changing from automatic to manual tranny Good idea? I am just wondering if the labor involved in this conversion is worth it in the long run. Will there be any problems later on down the road?

If you do everything right you shoudn't have any problems and no one can say if it will be worth it or not. That will be totaly up to you.
