Default clutch dragging

i have a 98 T/A i bought a couple of months ago, the previous owner had installed an aftermarket clutch in it (i have no idea what kind) but anyways the clutch grabs right off the floor and if i rev it up in gear the car creeps forward. i used a powerbleeder and nothing happened. how can i fix this?

Your next cheapest option is to buy an adjustable master cylinder and adjust it out a ways. I recommend the RAM adjustable master, or you can do what some people do and make your stock one adjustable if you have the know how and time.

PS - I don't recommend driving it while it's dragging. I just went through this and my brand new Six Speeds Inc tranny needed a rebuild after only a couple hundred miles of driving it like that, and not even hard, either. First gear synchro teeth were shot, along with the blocker ring for first. You may notice it's difficult to get into first and/or reverse.
