Default ls2 slave and clutch into ls1?

has anyone swapped their stock ls1 clutch (pp, clutch, flywheel) and slave with an ls2 (pp, clutch, flywheel) and slave. i have a slave and clutch out of a gto and was wondering if its just a r&r part. thanks in advance

I think there's a depth issue difference between the F-body transmission and the GTO transmission meaning the slaves will not swap but the clutches are interchangeable. I'm running the LS7 clutch which requires the LS2 flywheel. So in theory you can put a LS1 style clutch onto a LS2 and vice versa as long as you keep the flywheels consistent to the clutch type you are running.

yea i noticed the slave cylinder was a little shorter than the fbody. but as ong as the ls2 clutch flywheel and pressure plate fit then i guess in it goes. thanks guys
