Default Just an FYI

I broke my new GM clutch master cylinder recently (dont ask) and was in a pinch for a new one. it was this past sunday and being a holiday week end i was screwed. called a couple stores just for ***** and Advance Auto says they can get me a new one for monday morning only 68 bucks. im thinking this things just gonna be a band aid till i can get a Ram adjustable. went and picked it up and ho ho ho looky looky. same friggin stamping, part numbers, said AP, and had the same made in mexico sticker on it as the GM one. built on 5/3/08 so im sure its not pre 01. made or should i say "boxed" by a company called Perfection. ended up making an adjustable out of that one. just an fyi. i was pumped.

mainly i made it adjustable to be able to lengthen the rod for my swap. i could not get the master to go far enough up the fire wall before it hit the brake booster thus not giving me full pedal travel. the other adjustable side of it changes the engagment point which im going to wait to play w/.

OK, I know that this is probably a "stupid n00b" question, but how do you make it adjustable??

you pretty much cut the shaft in two, thread them and put 'em together. then you can cut off the stop inside for further travel. The sticky goes into good detail though
