Default Tranny Getting HOT?

k well after I drive a bit, the entire tunnel over the tranny gets extremely hot! from under the radio, the sides of the tunnel, inside the console.... so what can I check/do for this? fluid is good and clean and full...

I know mine does the same thing. It is somewhat exhaust in my case as well making undercar heat though.
Not really much you can do for it.

The bellhousing conducts engine heat to the transmission. On the highway I sometimes rest my hand on the shifter below the ****. Can’t do that in hot weather. The temperature is probably not as high as it seems. Not to worry, it is normal with these cars.
