missing u-bolt bracket

Default missing u-bolt bracket

i have a mcleod master cylinder and its garbage so im going back to oem but i lost the u bolt bracket thing. cant find it anywhere but a junkyard and they want 70$ for it! any advice?

Junkyard. I can get little **** like that for free. Try a pick your part type yard.

Or just make one yourself... Its nothing special. I used a piece of 1/4" rod, bent it to the proper "U" shape, and welded it to two bolts. Or just creative...there are other ways to make it for less than $1 worth of supplies.

I couldnt find one of those things to save my life when I was building my car. No one had one used, the yards were all autos, and it seems you cant get it from GM...oratleast I havent found the part number.
