I used a LS2 Fidanza alum flywheel in my Z06. Really takes some wieght off the setup. Mine was 43 lbs with clucth, pressure plate, and alum flywheel. Drives great and revs really smooth.

John02 is that a fidanza flywheel and aftermarket clutch that you use? Or is it a flywheel to replace the stock piece and still use the LS7 clutch?

SPEC also make couple of flywheels that will replace the stock piece.

I am trying to get a group buy together for anybody who is interested in getting a steel (rather than aluminium) LS2 replacement flywheel...

LS7 clutch and pressure plate with a Fidanza LS2 flywheel is what I have. I would think tht any alum LS2/LS7 style flywheel would work though.

Ok I didn't know that fidanza had an LS2 replacement flywheel yet... from what I have been able to read most of the flywheels need you to use an after market clutch, you have the part for the flywheel you have? Was it 198171-190? Was really looking for a Steel one...

I do actually have a stock LS7 flywheel but I wanted a lighter steel one that would work with the LS7 clutch not having much luck though...
