Default Clutch or Trans

I've noticed lately that when I jump on the throttle I can hear a chattering noise coming from the trans tunnel. Should I be looking at a bad clutch or something internal in the trans. I have 45,000 miles on the original clutch( not driven hard).

Does it only do it when you accelerate from a low rpm, or any rpm? Do you feel any vibrations, in the shifter possibly?

Without a little better description its tough to say, it could even be something like a broken transmission mount allowing the transmission to rattle against the floorboard/tunnel or an exhaust pipe against something as well.

It does it at an increase from low rpm's only. The shifter has a little vibration but not real bad. It sounds like the springs on the friction disk are chattering.

I have the same noise and just installed a Spec 3. Hopefully this does not get any worse.

I hoping it's just the clutch disk. I'm going to be putting in a LS7 clutch soon anyway. Hopefully I find the problem then.
