Master Cylinder - Causes of Failure?
what can cause a master to fail?
I've been having disengagement issues lately. I contacted the clutch maker and they said they have found my clutch to be too heavy for our hydraulics, so I get a new one with a lighter PP.
My question is whether running that heavy PP could have worn out my Master Cylinder with the 5-6k of use?

I would think that it would overpower the slave first, but seems reasonable that it could put additional wear/tear on the master as well. What suggested remedy did they give you if you had opted not to change clutches? Mcleod master? I wouldn't think it would be that much different in that the master does not displace a significantly greater volume of fluid as far as i know.

What is the issue you are having? Mine just won't go into gear at high RPM's. If I rev it up in gear with the clutch depressed the car will roll so the clutch must not be fully disengaging.
I'm using the Spec Stage 5 also. I'm praying it just needs to be bleed more. I seriously might loose it if I keep having issues with this thing.
