T56 questions I have a LS1/6 setup in my Nissan 240SX using a built TH series trans. I want to swap it over to a T56. I found a really cheap C5 t56 that needs a rebuild.
I know they are rear mounted on those, so what would I need to mount it to the motor? I would assume the bellhousing and tailshaift from a F body but I'm not sure.
How much is a typical rebuild on these?

Theres really nothing about a c5 tranny the same as an f-body unit. The mainshaft is longer, the front adapter is different, all the gears are different, the shift rail/linkage is different because it used a fron exit shift linkage on the vette, etc.
Just get an f-body transmission. If you find a deal on one of those that needs a rebuild, expect to pay $900 for something like our level 2 build: http://www.tick-performance.com/tick...ackages/fbody/
