cost for contractors to build a garage in Chicago area I'm considering buying my first property. Many in my price range don't have a garage.
Say it's just grass in the backlot off alley (Chicago). Howmuch to build slab, put up 2.5 car garage, vinyl siding, usual door, and smaller door on inside of property, with electricity and heat? Also, preferably tall enough to fit a full size suv (tahoe, suburban) No windows, except for a whole to put up a large AC wall/window unit.
I don't want to bother contractors, if I'm not serious, so I thought I'd ask you guys.
