We looking for some suggestions on painting the underneath of a 1978 Trans Am. We are in the process of stripping off all the old undercoating and ideally we would like to paint it a red oxide color which is how it came from the factory.
The problem we are running into is most of the paint should be sprayed and neither of us have the equipment or have ever sprayed a car.

So we are left with two options: try and find a brush-able paint or find someone/someplace who can spray it. Ideally we would like to find someone who would be able to spray it in the garage as once we pull the rear axle and gas tank it will be hard to take it anywhere. Currently the transmission is pulled so it's not driveable anyway.

Anyone have any suggestions or know someone who paints?? We are in the western Chicago suburbs.
