I need some recommendations on a good performance shop in the lake county / n.w.i area.
looking to have a shop complete and ls1 swap so i need the vehicle closer to home due to lack of transport.

He's really busy usually but I would try Rich Kostner, RDG Motorsports. He owns the shop. I don't know about any of his employees but I have personally worked in cars with him in the past and he's real good. He's in Lansing IL about 35 minutes from Crown Point. I wouldn't trust anybody closer than that. I've lived here forever. There are some good engine builders around but I usually just do all my own stuff on the car.

Franko's in Portage might do it too. He's a good mechanic also. Does a lot of stuff for me when I don't have time to do it myself.

Hey sorry. He's in route 6. His number is (219) 764-5151. He lives right by me so I usually just go by his house. I'm very picky so only let a few people work on anything that I have.
