Default installed slp lid and now...

my oil gauge moves to the right everytime i get on the gas..is this a problem? i also have the black hose from the stock air box(?) tied down and out of the way of everything in the engine bay..do i need to put an air breather on it? i thought i read that on another site or this one.. if so what is the part # and where can i get one? (or the appropriate part)

this is my first mod i have done to a car ever so your guys help is appreciated..

everything is stock on the car except the exhaust (02 Z28)

Oil pressure should increase w/RPM, normal.
The hose should have a breather on it, or remove the air pump system eventually.

I got one from Autozone for like $2. It's a cheap-*** plastic box lookin thing. Certainly not the prettiest thing in the world, but it gets the job done. Just tuck it out of the way and no one will notice. Not like you'd be proud of your breather and want to show it off anyway, right?

yeah its a K&N it came with a whisper lid that i bought a long time ago.
