Default New street tires and a wash!.. Pics

26x11.5 et streets. I needed something that I could hook harder on than the et radials on the street and I didn't feel like cruising around on 26x10 et drags being that the cops around here are a bit rediculous...So now it's 26x11.5 et streets on stock 16x8 rims and 26x10 et drags on 15x10 prostars (soon to be replaced by bogarts).

park/parking brake don't work? or is the log just an extra safety precaution?

Recently put a 9inch rearend in the car and hadn't hooked up the E brake, I was just using the log as "insurance".

Alot of guys (myself included) hook better on et radials vs. et streets or drags. Even Hot Rod magazine did a test on it and found better 60' times on the radials. Just an FYI.......

That's cool. I am familiar with the HOT Rod test, and I am familiar with other's luck with the radials. With that being said, I am not one of those persons who's car hooks harder with radials, might have something to do with the six speed, I don't know. All I know is the car leaves about 100 times better on the et streets than it ever left on the et radials. Looking through your previous posts I am going to assume you are an automatic, correct?

Yeah, I have an A4. I have heard that manual cars don't hook as well on those vs. automatic cars. I've been 1.53 on them, and thats with my slow junk.
